Lily had her 2 month checkup today, and I didn’t make her pediatrician appointment, because I was at work. I’m so glad that I missed it though, because I’m sure that I would’ve cried right along with her after watching her get three shots. I’m not sure exactly what all three things she got vaccinated for, but I’m pretty sure one was polio and another one was for rotavirus. I know I’m a terrible mother…you can judge me later.

Besides the shots, Lily has grown considerably! She went from 8lbs. 1 ounce, 22 inches, to 10lbs. 13 ounces and 24 inches in 2 months! My aunt told me that Lily is almost as tall as the world’s smallest midget whose height is 2 feet and 8 inches. haha. I’m so proud..

Last but not least, we have a prayer request to mention. Lily has had a cold for the past two weeks, and her breathing has still been phlemy and labored. The pediatrician is referring us on to a pulmonologist, because he doesn’t think that a cold would last that long. He said that it could be a variety of things..either an obstruction in her lungs, something that she was born with (whatever that means), or tracheomalacia (which is a floppiness of the walls of the trachea/windpipe). We’re hoping that it’s not anything serious, or anything that is going to involve putting her through a lot of uncomfortable tests. Thank you for your prayers already!
